Woke up at 0530hrs and prepared for our trip to Siem Reap, took the cab to Bui Vien and had breakfast at a convenience store then bought Banh Mi for our snacks on the trip. Met up at Ngoc Mai Hotel then headed for the bus run by Paramount Angkor Express which left the station at around 0830hrs and headed for Cambodia.

Arriving at Moc Bai, the exit point of Vietnam, where we were told to get our luggage and head for the immigration. Passed thru immigration then boarded the bus and crossed the border to Bavet, the Entry point of Cambodia, where we were told to get off the bus again and pass thru immigration. The first thing I noticed when crossing Cambodia was the extravagant buildings they have and the image capture at the immigration (same also with the image capture when we got our pass at Angkor). After getting our passports stamped, headed back to the bus and went on with our trip passing thru a lot of casinos where I learned days later that casinos are not allowed in Vietnam except for two main casinos so they cross the border just to gamble. Stopped a little later at Taloeung Restaurant to have lunch and I ordered fish and where they also served frogs, which tasted good.

Was awaken at around 1345hrs when we reached the Neak Loeung Ferry crossing and waited for the ferry so we could cross the Mekong River and we had a chance to take pictures of the locals from the bus.

Reaching Phnom Penh at 1540hrs and were told to get off the bus and taking our luggage transferred to another bus and by 1730hrs stopped at a roadside eatery where we ate the Banh Mi that we brought and saw the Crickets and Spiders they are selling as food, wanted to try it but was thinking that I might have an upset stomach and we still have so many places to see.

At 1915hrs, arrived at Siem Reap where a van picked us up at the station and brought us to Ponloeu Angkor Siem Reap Villa where we checked-in and left our luggage then met up at the lobby to go get some dinner. We went and had dinner at Indian Gate Restaurant and with a heavy downpour ate our dinner. Got some snacks and drinks at a convenience store and headed back to our hotel for an early wake up call to see the sun rising at ANGKOR WAT.
